YouTube will start creating original programming for international markets, including France, Germany, Mexico, Japan, and India, according to its global head of original programming, Susanne Daniels, per Reuters.

International original programming will be produced in local languages and run the gamut of genres, including documentaries, reality TV, talk shows, and scripted series. YouTube is building out original shows globally to help drive sign-ups for its subscription service, YouTube Premium (formerly YouTube Red), although some of the shows will be available for free.See the rest of the story at Business Insider
